Major changes are coming to derelict structures in and around Bridgetown, including the Old Sugar Bond.
Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley says Government is investing in repurposing a number of Bridgetown’s old buildings with the ultimate goal of repurposing the economy.
She also says the Treasury Building has already been put out to tender.
Prime Minister Mottley was speaking during the opening of the University of the West Indies Satellite Campus and Centre of Innovation.
It’s located at the old Mutual building.
