Prime Minister of Barbados Mia Amor Mottley, is pleading the case of small island nations that are struggling to deal with what she termed as a “triple crisis” amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ms. Mottley made the comments prior to a bilateral meeting with Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
She says Barbados is dealing with the real-world impacts of climate change at the same time as COVID-19 and rising fuel and food prices.
