Come Sunday, travellers to the United States will no longer have to show a COVID-19 negative test to enter the country.
In announcing the change, the Centres for Disease Control (CDC) said it will reassess the decision in 90 days and determine whether it needs to be reinstated in the event of a new concerning variant or other occurrence.
Prior to the announcement, travellers to the US were required to present the results of a rapid antigen test.
