Government is pledging to continue the battle against non communicable diseases until there’s a turnaround in the situation.
The assurance from Minister of State in the Ministry of Health with Responsibility for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Dr. Sonia Browne, who says the figures are alarming.
Dr. Browne was speaking at the prize giving ceremony for the Hospital’s Dietary Department School Essay and Poster Competition.
She also encouraged the participants to be agents of change in the NCD battle.
