Amid calls for more people to get vaccinated to protect themselves and loved ones from COVID-19, health officials have some good news about the vaccines.
They say there have only been about 600 reports of adverse reactions.
The update was given by Chief Medical Officer, Dr. The Most Honourable Kenneth George. He was speaking at the Barbados and Dominica Esavi Surveillance Workshop Organised by the Pan American Health Organization on Monday.
Dr. George adds the moderate to severe reactions represent a very small percentage of the 364 0728 AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccines administered.
