A dedicated unit may be needed in the National Housing Corporation to ensure housing units are maintained regularly.
However, Deputy Prime Minister and St Michael South East MP, Santia Bradshaw, says a lack of maintenance is not limited to the Housing Ministry.
Ms Bradshaw, who is also the Minister of Transport, Works and Water Resources, says it is an issue that needs close attention. She was speaking in Parliament during a Resolution to vest 7.2 acres of Crown Land at Brighton, St George to the National Housing Corporation for housing development.
