A senior Minister is tonight defending the Barbados Light and Power Company (BLPC) in the face of recent criticism.
Minister of Energy and Business, Kerrie Symmonds is of the strong view that the BLPC is an indispensable partner in the provision of electricity on the island, and in the country’s plans for building out the renewable energy sector.
His comments came during the inaugural Renewable Energy Expo hosted by the Barbados Chamber of Commerce and Industry yesterday at Hilton Barbados, Aquatic Gap, St Michael.
