Barbados is home to a new garden that connects Barbadians with their heritage through plants.
The Ethnobotanical Garden is located within the Andromeda Botanical Gardens in St. Joseph.
It sits on about two acres.
Sharon Cooke, the owner of Passiflora Limited, the operators of the tropical gardens, expressed gratitude to all who aided in helping bring them to fruition, singling out the Sandals Foundation along with University students in the Give Back programme.
She says Andromeda is open to recommendations on native plants for the new space as the Ethnobotanical Garden is not finished.
