Members of the Democratic Labour Party are today joining in paying tribute to Caribbean Calypso stalwart, Singing Francine, who passed away yesterday in Trinidad and Tobago.
DLP General Secretary Steve Blackett noted that Singing Francine, whose real name is Francine Edwards left an indelible mark on the calypso artform across the globe with the wealth of both social commentary and popular Christmas songs she created.
