Cultural history to be showcased

Local arts and culture will have a presence at the Hilton Barbados Resort.

That’s the word from newly installed General Manager Jacques Monteil, who joined the property in September 2022.

He’s a 26-year hospitality industry veteran, who most recently served as Hotel Manager at Conrad Punta de Mita in Mexico, where he played a critical role in the successful opening of the luxury resort in 2020.

Mr. Monteil says he has heard of the rich cultural history of Barbados and he wants to showcase it to the world.
