Consultations have started to heighten awareness among the local trading community on the Draft HS Tariff 2022 and Draft Regulations 2023.
Spearheading this initiative is the Barbados Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Barbados Customs and Excise Department, who hosted a joint webinar where a general overview was provided.
Comptroller of the Barbados Customs and Excise Department, Owen Holder says as the department seeks to reposition itself to provide optimum service, it must have updated and appropriate tools to do so.
President of the BCCI, Anthony Branker says the seminar is progressive and welcomed the opportunity for traders to learn about the new tariff.
