Speaking during a Barbados Labour Party’s Christ Church East Branch Meeting on Sunday, Home Affairs Minister, Wilfred Abrahams, defended the Government’s decision not to reduce taxes in the recently presented budget.
He was responding to critics who he says have suggested the budget did nothing for the people of Barbados.
Mr Abrahams explains government could not remove the existing taxes, as it must still meet its commitments.
