It was a mixture of learning and fun for students of the St. Martin’s Mangrove Primary School as the school hosted a health fair.
Principal, Erica Holder revealed the students were the inspiration for the initiative.
The all-day affair, dubbed “St. Martin’s Mangrove in the Community” featured a number of exhibits and booths from organizations across Barbados.
Ms. Holder says the youth are the future leaders and its important the school positively shape, develop and influence their thinking.
Doing so, she says, will help the students make wise choices in life.
She says communities as well have a part to play.
Deputy Chief Education Officer, Joy Adamson commended the organisers as she welcomed the embrace of the community.
