It was not a good Friday morning for the viewers and listeners of the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation.
The Corporation’s three radio stations, all of the Multi-Choice TV (MCTV) channels and TV 8 were off the air, as a power cut in The Pine, St Michael led to a disruption of service.
CBC’s Chief Executive Officer, Sanka Price, was a part of the team at our studios dealing with the issue.
Led by Maurice Bailey, the CBC’s engineering department worked all morning to resolve a number of technical problems that lingered after the Barbados Light and Power restored electricity.
By 1:15 p.m. all of the CBC services had been restored.
