There has been another COVID-19 related death recorded in Barbados, during the period April 15 to 28, 2023.
This latest death brings the local toll to 589.
In addition, in that same time period 100 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded out of the 620 tests conducted.
As at April 28, 6 people are hospitalised.
As it relates to COVID-19 vaccinations, 163,846 people (60.5% of the total population) have received at least one dose.
Meanwhile 155,036 people (57.2% of the total population) are fully vaccinated.
