A hotel in St. Philip is again embarking on an initiative to rid the beach of sargassum seaweed as it finds ways to satisfy guests and keep bookings up.
The Crane Resort is moving ahead with the installation of a boom that blocks the seaweed from reaching the sand.
Owner and Managing Director at the Crane Resort, Paul Doyle says he hopes to extend the initiative to other beaches affected by the seaweed.
He says the installation of the boom was hampered by the tide, but it is now on track.
