Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley is taking the Bridgetown Initiative to the world as she continues to lobby for a billion dollar deal for climate financing to secure the future of Barbados and other vulnerable small island developing states.
From tomorrow she will be on a two week overseas mission which takes her to London, Switzerland, Ghana and Paris.
This was announced as the Prime Minister and senior Government officials, along with their guest of honour, Executive Vice President for the European Commission, his Excellency Frans Timmermans, toured a number of communities impacted by climate change.
