Fears of a shortage of sweet potatoes locally are being allayed – to some extent.
CEO of the Barbados Agricultural Society James Paul says production is not where it should be, but there is no shortage.
The 6 month dry spell has had a serious effect on production and Mr. Paul says farmers are trying to increase production.
He says some ease will come.
