As concerns continue to mount about the impact of the Delta variant on children, Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley says the focus now has to be on increasing vaccinations among 12 to 18 year olds.
In the latest figures there were 78 positive cases, and of that number 17 are children.
As it relates to those 12-18 that have already been vaccinated on the island, one in every five has taken the jab.
She says while Government will not mandate the jab for adults, there is already a system in place that deals with students and vaccination.
