Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley is not pleased with some of the criticism surrounding the new Airport memorandum of understanding.
Speaking in the Lower House today she said she will not be tolerating critics who seek to advance racially motivated arguments against the arrangement.
The MOU involves the office of his Highness Sheikh Ahmed Dalmook Al Maktoum of Dubai and Agencias Universales SA of Chile.
During Debate on a Resolution on the matter, the Prime Minister warned there was no place for divisive comments which incite hatred.
She says Barbadians are better than that.
Meanwhile, Senior Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Kerrie Symmonds says he’s been listening to the conversation nationally regarding the developments.
He says such PPP arrangements aren’t new to the Caribbean.
