The public is being advised that the operating hours for fish markets across Barbados have been amended with immediate effect.
This in light of the revised curfew hours which start today, Saturday, September 11th, 2021.
Fish markets will operate from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 7:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Sundays – with the exception of Speightstown which is closed on Sundays.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and the Blue Economy reminds the fishing community and patrons of the markets to follow all COVID-19 protocols when conducting business.
