Four teenagers are reportedly in police custody in connection with recent attacks on the homeless.
Over the weekend, CBC News understands there were several incidents of homeless people in the City being punched, struck with bottles and other missiles and even stabbed by a group of young people.
The attacks, which sparked public condemnation, left the victims bloodied and in need of medical attention.
Minister of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs Kirk Humphrey, as well as President of the Barbados Alliance to End Homelessness, Kemar Saffrey have both condemned the attacks, calling for the perpetrators to be brought to justice.
