A St. James youth charged with a string of offenses, including murder, has been remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison at Dodds.
20 year old Jared Stephen Highland-Best, of #75 Apes Hill Development, Apes Hill appeared in the District ‘D’ Magistrates Court before Magistrate Wanda Blair.
He’s charged in connection with the murder of Kemar Grazette, who died on September 2nd of injuries sustained during a reported shooting.
The incident occurred at Arsenal Playing Field, Jackson, St. Michael on August 31st, 2021.
Highland-Best has also been charged with other offences related to the incident including wounding and violent disorder.
He is scheduled to reappear at the District ‘A’ Criminal Court on October 12th.
