The second Women’s One Day International between West Indies and hosts Australia ended in a no-result at Junction Oval in Melbourne.
The start of the game was delayed by three and a half hours due to rain. But when play was possible, the Windies Women were sent into bat and were 107 for 8 after 25.3 overs when another shower forced an abandonment.
Aaliyah Alleyne top scored 28 not out, while Annabel Sutherland took 3 for 6.
The no-result means the Aussie women lead the series 1-0 with one match to be played.
Both teams gained one point in the ICC Women’s Championship Race.
