Potential African investors have been given insight into ongoing development work in Barbados, including planned hotel projects slated for the island.
Chief Executive Officer of Invest Barbados Kaye-Anne Greenidge, told those attending the ongoing Intra-African Trade Fair, where Barbados made a presentation, that the island is ripe for investment.
Business-to-business meetings were also held and the Barbados team provided updates on projects available for investment.
Ms. Greenidge says there are a number of opportunities in Barbados ready for the investor.
Governor of the Central Bank of Barbados Dr. Kevin Greenidge says Barbados, like most countries in the world, was heavily hit by the COVID-19 pandemic.
It was also impacted by several other crises.
However, according to Dr. Greenidge, Barbados was able to bounce back with great vigour.
