An 11-member team from Trinidad and Tobago is on a fact-finding mission to Barbados, hoping to learn more about the Oistins fish fry model.
This is among the community-based initiatives the visiting local Government Councillors are hoping to replicate in their country.
Chairman of the Couva/ Tabaquite/Talparo Regional Corporation Ryan Rampersad, says the country can no longer depend only on its natural resources such as oil and gas.
He told Mornin’ Barbados they are therefore seeking to find other ways to develop their respective communities.
