The West Terrace Primary School capped off African Awareness Month celebrations in grand style.
Besides the usual fashion on show, several beautiful presentations were shared.
Principal Ingrid Lashley says these types of celebrations are important, as young people should be aware of their heritage, cultural background and their history.
She says more children need to be exposed to the values of their forefathers.
Meanwhile, the children spoke about their experience.
