Not a lot is being invested in track and field in Barbados.
That’s the opinion of President of the Athletics Association of Barbados, Noel Lynch.
He says it’s costing roughly $100,000 to send the CARIFTA team to Grenada.
Mr. Lynch added that it has been too long that Barbados has been without a national stadium.
He was addressing the unfortunate circumstances that surround the CARIFTA athletes’ preparations.
The CARIFTA Games will be broadcast live on CBC TV8 from March 30 to April 1.
