The number of COVID-19 deaths in Barbados has risen to 151.
A 63 year old Barbadian man died just after arrival at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital’s Accident and Emergency Department on October 26th. His COVID-19 test result subsequently showed that he was positive.
A 55 year old Barbadian man passed away on October 27th, while in primary isolation at the Harrison’s Point Isolation Facility.
Both individuals were unvaccinated.
Minister of Health and Wellness, Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Bostic, has extended condolences to the bereaved.
