Two more women succumbed to COVID-19 in Barbados.
A 69-year-old woman passed away at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital’s Accident and Emergency Department on Friday, October 29, while an 81-year-old Barbadian woman succumbed to the illness at the Blackman and Gollop Isolation Facility, today, Sunday, October 31.They both were unvaccinated.
Minister of Health and Wellness, Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Bostic, has extended condolences to the loved ones of the deceased.
