On this National Heroes Day weekend, Barbadians pour out their appreciation and gratitude for the culture of a faraway land – Japan.
Hundreds turned up at the Barbados Museum and Historical Society for a celebration of the Japan-CARICOM Friendship Year, 2024, by taking in the first official Japanese performance to be organised by the Embassy of Japan in Barbados.
Jiutamai – the dance and musical performances – captured the gentleness of the human heart and the spirit of Japan.
