Work to prepare the Alma Parris School in Speightstown, St. Peter for reopening, will begin from next week.
It’s one of two secondary schools that Government will soon be adding to the local education system.
The other is situated at the site of the soon-to-be renamed New Horizons Academy.
Education Minister Santia Bradshaw made the disclosure this morning.
