After numerous delays, several vendors plying their trade from the old Fairchild Street Market in the City have moved into their new stalls at the renamed Fairchild Street Market Village.
Food and beverage vendors along with cobblers have been accommodated in Phase One.
Work is ongoing on the dismantling of close to 60 old stall spaces.
Chief Executive Officer of Haigh Communications, Public Relations Consultant for the project, Joy-Ann Haigh expects this work will continue into the week.
Ms. Haigh says the activity is not connected to the planned royal visit by Prince Charles later this month.
