With the possibility of food price hikes on the horizon given international trends, Chief Executive Officer of the Barbados Agricultural Society James Paul, is challenging local farmers to increase their production quotas.
He says boosting output will improve Barbados’ food security.
Mr. Paul made the plea during the BAS Special General Assembly, held at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre.
