Final tributes paid to DJ Jon Doe

Barbadian radio personality Jon Doe has been laid to rest.

Family, friends and colleagues of the late DJ paid their final respects in a morning of music and tributes.

The DJ, whose real name is Warren Forte, was Assistant Programme Manager and Supervisor at HOTT 95.3 F.M.

He died suddenly on November 7th.

In an emotional tribute, Starcom Network’s Programme Manager Ronnie Clarke reflected on Forte’s work ethic and his unique ability to connect with listeners through music.

Clarke made the remarks during the funeral ceremony at New Dimensions Ministries on Barbarees Hill.

Many attendees wore red in honour of the well known DJ and musical tributes were given by Bajan musicians Rupee and Biggie Irie.

Information Minister Wilfred Abrahams and Minister in the Ministry of Culture John King were in attendance, alongside members of the entertainment and media fraternity.
