As the world marks International Anti-Corruption Day today, Barbados has highlighted its commitment to the cause.
Minister in the Ministry of Finance Ryan Straughn says the country is putting the necessary framework in place to safeguard against corruption at all levels.
He points out that Government is constantly working to tighten related laws.
Minister Straughn says where Government’s procurement is concerned, it has just laid legislation to bring greater transparency to the process for all of Government, central and state owned enterprises.
