Government has unveiled plans to reopen Barbados’ entertainment sector in short order after extensive consultations with the Social Partnership Committee.
During a media briefing following a meeting with the social partnership Chief Medical Officer Dr. Kenneth George announced new protocols for open air events.
Under the new directives, event promoters and artistes must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 rapid antigen test and be fully vaccinated. Meanwhile patrons will be required to present either a vaccination certificate or negative COVID-19 test.
