The 23-year-old man accused of the murder of 74-year-old Phyllis Edgehill, has been remanded to Dodds Prison.
Royale Achim Trotman, of Lot # 6 Gall Hill Terrace, Gall Hill, St John, appeared before Magistrate Deidre McKenna, at the Oistins Magistrates’ Court today.
He was not required to plead to the indictable charge.
Trotman is also charged with the offences of:
- Escaping Lawful custody without the use of force
- Assault occasioning actual bodily harm
He is scheduled to reappear on the murder charge on January 13, 2022, at the District C Magistrate’s Court, while he is to reappear at the Oistins Magistrates’ Court on January 17, 2022, to answer the charge of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
