Three more COVID-19 deaths have been recorded in Barbados.
A 51-year-old man passed away at the Harrison’s Point Isolation Facility, and an 85-year-old woman died at the Geriatric Hospital Isolation Facility, on Tuesday, October 26th.
The third victim was a 97-year-old woman, who was reported dead on arrival at the Accident and Emergency Department at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. She was subsequently confirmed to be COVID-19 positive.
They were all unvaccinated.
Their deaths bring to 149, the number of lives lost to the viral illness.
Minister of Health and Wellness, Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Bostic, has extended condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
