77 new COVID-19 cases identified from 432 tests

A total of 77 new COVID-19 cases were recorded from the 432 tests conducted on Thursday, September 1st, by laboratories across the island.

The cases consist of 12 people under the age of 18, and 65 who are 18 years and older.

There were 81 people in isolation facilities, while 863 were in home isolation.

The laboratories conducted 756,003 tests since February 2020, and recorded 101,292 COVID-19 cases (45,827 males and 55,465 females).

Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of fully vaccinated people is 154,417 (57 per cent of the total population or 67.6 per cent of the eligible population).
