It’s a tribute to the late Archbishop, the leader of the Spiritual Baptist Church, who held meetings in that location.
The honour is also in part for his social and cultural work.
The plaque was unveiled by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, Works and Water Resources Santia Bradshaw.
During her address, she recalled the work of the late Spiritual Baptist leader.
