Call for political parties to disclose amount spent during election campaigns

A local political scientist is suggesting political parties should be made to disclose how much they spend during an election campaign.

Professor Cynthia Barrow-Giles, believes this would be an improvement over the current system, which only requires candidates to declare their election expenses.
