While Crop Over bands are in a crunch to get their costumes produced locally, it has been slow business for manufacturers even though they took in last-minute orders.
Barry Mayers of Ripples and Upbeat told the Morning Report that Crop Over business has been very slow.
Mr Mayers said while the orders were rushed, it did not interrupt the regular business flow because it has been a relatively slow period.
He also said they will live up to all their commitments and have the costumes delivered.
He said they serviced about nine Grand Kadooment bands and a few for Foreday Morning.
