Deployment of emergency personnel into Haiti will be done within the strictest COVID-19 protocols.
This assurance from Executive Director of the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency, Elizabeth Riley, who says they safely did the same thing recently in St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Guyana.
She says CDEMA is also taking into account the fact that Haiti has one of the lowest vaccine coverage rates among CARICOM states.
