Government is working to pinpoint where its strengths and weaknesses lie in the event of a disaster.
Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Officer, Senator Dr. Shantal Munro-Knight, made the revelation as she led off Debate on the Catastrophe Fund (Amendment) Bill in the Upper House.
She says this, along with a recent audit done by the Ministry of Housing, will help the state in its effort to build resilience in the country’s housing stock.
