More Barbadians are supporting efforts to implement front-of-package warning labels.
It’s felt this, along with educating youth at primary and secondary levels about healthly eating, will go a long way to reduce the incidence of chronic non communicable diseases.
To strengthen the message, officials of the Barbados Childhood Obesity Prevention Coalition in partnership with the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Barbados have launched a mass media campaign “The Right to Information – Give Us Warning Labels”.
