Man remanded for attack on visitors

A Christ Church man has been remanded, after appearing in court for serious offences surrounding an incident with two visitors to the island.

37-year-old Curtis Joel Foster, of Bynoe Road, Rendezvous, Christ Church, was remanded to Dodd Prison, Dodds, St Philip, until March 1, 2022.

He appeared before Magistrate Manila Renee at the District “A” Criminal Court # 2, where he was not required to enter a plea to any of the indictable charges.  

These charges stem from investigations into a reported incident involving two visitors to the island, that occurred on January 8, 2022, in the area of the Richard Haynes Boardwalk in Hastings, Christ Church.

Those charges are:

1. One (1) count of Robbery which occurred on the 8th day of January, 2022.

2. Two (2) counts of Wounding with intent which occurred on the 8th day of January, 2022.
