New date for phased return to face to face classes

February 21st has been announced as the new date for the phased return to face to face classes in Barbados.

That announcement tonight from Education Minister and candidate for St. Michael South East Santia Bradshaw, who was speaking as the BLP held its campaign climax at the Bay Street Esplanade ahead of tomorrow’s general election.

She says Government has made a commitment to get the island’s children back to school safely, and they have been working with stakeholders to ensure this occurs.

A phased return to the classroom had previously been scheduled for January 24th but was delayed due to Barbados’ current COVID-19 situation.
