The National Transformation Initiative has been hailed as a critical pillar in Government’s plan to ensure workers are poised for success in the changing global environment.
Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Senator Dr. Shantal Munro-Knight, made the point as the NTI signed a letter of intent with Kenya’s Youth Enterprise Development Fund.
She says as Government sought to restructure the economy, it recognised the need to also include citizens in the transitions.
As it relates to the agreement inked between the two agencies, Dr. Munro-Knight says both countries share a need to ensure young people are better positioned to understand their role in national development.
