The Barbados Nurses Association (BNA) says nursing students on island have been impacted by the delay in paying the promised stipend.
Government earlier in the year announced the change in policy, which is to be an added incentive to get Barbadians to join the nursing profession and reduce the nursing shortage.
President, Valerie Francis-Miller believes the profession is still an attractive career to Barbadians as she called attention to the matter.
